There's a need for Bicycle Race Officials and Motorcycle Referees in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York City, New York state (all the way to Buffalo), and New England up to Maine. Certified officials can get paid for their work at these races!
To get certified, Liz Campbell is holding her annual C-Official and Motor C Clinics to certify individuals as Bicycle Race Officials and Motorcycle referees. The clinics will be held at MAX BMW Motorcycles in Brookfield, CT on Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th.
Passing the clinics will certify one to work as paid officials at bicycle races anywhere in the country, either on the ground, doing scoring and referring, and on the motorcycle as a motorcycle referee, keeping the riders safe and adhering to the racing rules.
Visit the Moto Cavalry Facebook Group to get an idea of the fun we have and the camaraderie of our group. Then, fill out our online form to sign up for the clinic. You can also call or e-mail Liz Campbell directly: 802-342-3881 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oh, and one more thing: if you're already a Moto Official, there will be an Advanced Moto Clinic both Saturday and Sunday at the same location (but in a different area of the building) to go over more advanced topics. Use the same link and contact info above for the advanced clinics.
